Terms and Conditions

Overriding philosophy

Having extremely satisfied customers is the only way that we want to do business. 

All Flower Muse orders come with our "stress free guarantee": if there is anything wrong with your order, that we can control, we will immediately replace the order or issue a full refund. 

What if there is something wrong with my order?

In the extremely unlikely event of a problem occurring with your order, please email info@flowermuse.com with your order number and a description of the problem or call us at 866-815-0495 within 24 hours of delivery.  We may ask you to send us a quick photo of what is wrong with the flowers; this is NOT because we don’t believe you.  Rather, it is because some varieties of flowers arrive in very tight bud form and look very different when first removed from the box than they will after being in water for a few hours.  It really is like magic to watch the transformation!

Shipping and delivery:

We will do anything and everything possible to make sure that your order is delivered on the day you requested.  The only time we cannot make this guarantee is when so called “Acts of God” (including things like severe storms, tornados, earthquakes, fires, mechanical problems with planes or anything that endangers human lives) occur.  When such acts occur, we may not be able to honor your requested delivery date but will make every effort to do so via alternative transportation methods and creative solutions.  We care deeply about your order being perfect and don’t use such occasions to sit back and say “well, there’s nothing we can do” – seriously. 

We do ask that you arrange for the delivery to go to an address where someone is available to receive them because FedEx will not leave the boxes unattended (in most areas).  We'll always work to get FedEx to redelivery a box if no one is home, but it's much better if someone can be there to sign the first time.

Flower Care and Use

Care and handling: 
We are extremely proud of our flower quality and feel that we deliver the longest lasting flowers in the industry.  We do have to ask, however, that you properly care for your flowers once you receive them.  Following our simple care and handling guidelines is all that we ask and you certainly don’t need to be an expert.  We just ask that you not abuse the flowers (e.g. leave them outside in 100 degree heat, place them in boiling water, not hydrate them, etc.) and then wonder about why they did not last. We are here for any and all questions that you have, so if you have questions, please let us know.

Use of flowers:
All our flowers are designed to be for use as decorative fresh cut flowers. While it might sometimes be technically possible to plant some of these and grow fresh flowers/plants, they are not designed for this purpose. Additionally, while some of our flowers can be dried to last for long periods of time (months or longer), we cannot promise this for all types of flowers.  If you are looking to use fresh flowers which can more easily be dried and preserved, let us know and we'll help you find the type that would work best for you. Further, none of our flowers should be consumed by anyone or anything including adults, children, pets or any other animals; they are for decorative use only. Our decorative "flowers" that are also plant types found in food (kale, fruit tree branches, etc.) should not be consumed even though some products with these names are used as food.  In order to maximize their use at cut flowers, these products are specially bred to be for decorative use only and may have been exposed to elements in the green house, field or transportation that are not fit for consumption.

Allergies:
Some people do have allergies to some flower types, so if you know that you or a recipient has a particular flower allergy, please do not order the type of flower that you are allergic too.  If you have concerns about allergies, please let us know and we'll be happy to help you with more information about this (although, our advice should never substitute for the advice of an allergy specialist).

Photos and Descriptions

As we’ve said elsewhere on the site, all images / photos on the site are photos of the flowers which ship from our actual farms.  We don’t use public domain or third party photos at all.  As such, all our photos are highly accurate images of what the product looks like.  That said, there are some natural variances in color between flowers during certain times of the year / depending on soil conditions and microclimates as well as in the lighting in which flowers are viewed.  Some natural variances in color may occur, but one of the reasons that we sell many flowers as specific varieties (e.g. “Freedom” instead of “red”) is that this significantly limits the natural color variance.

Countries We Ship To

While we would like to be able to ship to every country in the world, customs restrictions make this impossible.  Right now, we are shipping to the United States and Canada and are rapidly expandin to parts of the EU as well as Argentina, Taiwan and Japan.  If you have a special need and reside elsewhere, just drop us a note and if we can't help you, we will help find someone who can.
