Valentine’s Day is an extremely important holiday not only for lovers around the world, but for flower farms around the world as well. Unfortunately, it’s also the holiday when more people than any other time of the year get their hands on flowers which are, quite frankly, terrible.
As such, we’re kicking off a three part series on Valentine’s Day. Our goal is to pull the curtain back on what the flower “industry” does during Valentine’s Day. Even if you choose to buy your Valentine’s Day flowers from someone other than Flower Muse, we want you to have all the information you need to make an informed decision. Our series will focus on:
- What happens when you place a Valentine’s Day flower order
- What flowers make the most sense for Valentine’s Day
- What should you ask any company you are considering ordering from for Valentine’s Day
We’ll be kicking off the first series Friday 1/27.
In the interim, we wanted to add one additional note here. We have been extremely fortunate to get weather at the calla lily farm that has been pretty much exactly what calla lilies love. As a result, we are going to have more callas at lower prices than we expected. What does that mean for you? Well, it means that we can offer a Valentine’s Day mini-calla gift set at over $100 off the regular price. Wait. Isn’t it dumb to discount during Valentine’s Day? Shouldn’t we raise prices during Valentine’s Day since almost everyone else does? No, not really. When we can pass along savings, we always will. We want all our flowers to find great homes and we want all our customers and friends to have nothing but prefect flowers. That’s what’s important to us – be it Valentine’s Day or just a random Wednesday.
As always, if you have any questions, just let us know (firstname.lastname@example.org).
