Our Favorite: Burgundy Flowers

It’s been a couple months since our last color board and with the holidays coming up, we put together our favorite burgundy flowers! Burgundy is a beautiful color and we love using it especially around the holidays. It’s also one of those colors that can be quite subjective! For some people, burgundy means a dark red color, whereas for others it means a reddish-purple color like wine.

However you define burgundy, we’ve put together some of our favorite burgundy flowers and you’ll see that we’ve included a mix of burgundy colors! From burgundy red peonies to dark burgundy scabiosa, you’ll find a wide range of different types of burgundy flowers.

Many of these blooms would pair beautifully with white or cream colored flowers and greens for a classic Christmas color palette. And for more holiday inspiration, you can check out some DIY tutorials for holiday centerpieces and also tips on choosing the right flowers for your holiday table (like our post on our favorite allergy-friendly flowers).

I hope our burgundy flower board gives you inspiration whether you want ideas on decorating your home or if you’re planning a burgundy color themed wedding or event.
